Peter Kowey was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, January 4, 1950, and that is where he grew up. He graduated from Bishop Kendrick High School in June 1967 as Salutatorian and received a Presidential Scholarship to St. Joseph's College in Philadelphia where he graduated in May 1971, Cum Laude with a BS in Biology and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Nu honors program.
