Abstract
We evaluated whether cardiac resynchronization therapy affects the prevalence of ventricular
tachycardia in relation to reverse remodeling in patients with end-stage heart failure.
Clinical, echocardiographic, and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) data
of 17 patients with ICDs were obtained before and after they had received an upgrade
to an ICD-cardiac resynchronization therapy device.
