Correction

        It has come to our attention that an error appears in the article, “Effectiveness of sirolimus-eluting stent for treatment of left main coronary artery disease,” by Arampatzis et al (Am J Cardiol 2003;92:327–329); one patient that died was in the elective group and should have been included in the bailout group, therefore, this error has caused several corrections.
        On page 328, second column, first full paragraph, the opening sentence should read: “Table 2lists the clinical outcomes for patients with acute myocardial infarction, bailout stenting, and elective angioplasty. The incidence of in-hospital major cardiac events was 60%, 22%, and 12% in the 3 groups, respectively. The in-hospital mortality rate in patients with acute myocardial infarction was 60%, in the bailout group 11%, and in elective patients, the rate was 0%.
