Notes from a recent visitor to Berlin: on myocarditis, effect of coronary angiography on thyroid function, and Virchow’s inflammatory theory of atherosclerosis

      While serving as a Visiting Professor at the Humboldt University of Berlin recently, I noticed several aspects of cardiology that were interesting and unique. Three of them, because of their clinical implications, will be briefly discussed in this communication.
