      Electron-beam tomography (EBT) is a sensitive tool for detection of coronary calcifications. The purpose of this study was to assess the presence and extent of coronary calcifications in “young” patients with first acute myocardial infarction (AMI) to matched controls without a history of coronary artery disease (CAD).
